Katherine Wheeler Ceramics began with my love of beach combing, and holidays at the beach.

Growing up in central Victoria, the difference in landscape between the coast and country was vast and fascinating, and constantly inspiring with all the weird and wonderful things that would wash up from the deep.  

My ceramic pieces and drawings still stem and are inspired by the ocean, and the treasures it expels and hides in its depths. They grow and change when made into ceramics, with little quirk and twists added in.
