Haworthia collection

Haworthia are a highly adapted succulent family from Southern Africa. Unlike many Succulents they prefer a bit of protection from the afternoon sun. Recently this family was divided into sub families such as Haworthiopsis and Tulista. Due to their lower light needs than other succulents they make great indoor plants. They are best placed on a window sill where they can receive morning sun but be protected from scorching afternoon sun. They should be watered once dry in the warmer months but kept on the dry side through winter. Haworthia can be susceptible to root rot if they stay wet for extended periods.
