Our Story

Fitzroy Nursery has been an established part of Brunswick Street for over 40 years. 

Just 3km from Melbourne's CBD, we are a unique inner city nursery that reflects the vibrant culture of Fitzroy.

Our nursery is well known for our indoor plant selection. We stock a huge range of indoor plants including many that are sought after and not readily available. Our qualified and experienced staff can help you select and advise on what plants are most suitable for you as well as a pot to suit from our extensive pot range.

In April 2023 we reopened an outdoor nursery & landscape design studio on our original site. Our great range of outdoor plants, including Australian natives, herbs, citrus trees, climbers, shade plants and trees is back! Alongside the plants, we have an assortment of fantastic pots, garden art and an expanded collection of outdoor furniture.

In our new design studio we're excited to have a dedicated space for our established garden design, landscape construction and consultation services. We specialise in getting the best out of your outdoor space, be it a small balcony, rooftop, courtyard, and gardens of any size. 

We offer garden design services backed by decades of horticultural knowledge and a deep understanding of the unique urban environments of inner city Melbourne.
